Tia always lacked the depth in her Sur & had been getting bad remarks from all the three judges. In fact nobody ever thought that Tia with her mediocre performance would stay in the race for so long. When talented singers like Shashi Suman & Naushad Ali Kawa were eliminated, many onlookers felt that Tia should have gone.
Our source says, "It was Tia's Birthday but nothing went right for her. She was in the bottom three along with Swaroop Khan & Shivam Pathak. It was a fair result because her staying back would have meant that Idol would lose yet another talent in either Swaroop or Shivam".
Next week will have the eliminated contestants fighting it out again to get back into the main race.

james789 12 years ago EXPERIENCED vs NEWCOMER is unfair, organizer need to decide either idol should be an established experienced singer or from unknown new comer who dont know much about song...but keep try and try by new comer singer can also achieve the title of indian idol by defeat the experienced established singer2010-07-16 10:49:54

Sreeram is an established Playback singer of the South. He shouldn't be allowed to compete with other amateurs. This makes the competition unpractical and unhealthy. Judges should not be so excited while praising him after each of his performances. This is no surprise when a professional singer sings well. I would request the organizers - Please make a level playing field in the Indian Idol 5 show, so that the newcomers are not faced with an uneven competition.

sad that naushad had to go before her. i guess sreeram deserves to win the show.

Jibransoroor 12 years ago Earlier elimination of Bhomi, sroop and tia could have saved Naushad and the audiance would been delighted to see Rakesh, Naousad, Shivs' healthy and enjoyable performences further.
UNEXPECTED you can expect in indian idol 5...Be ready
