It was challenging yet fun to shoot the drunken scene and rain sequence: Megha Chakraborty of ‘Imlie’
Here’s what Megha has to say about a recent scene in Star Plus show ‘Imlie’.

Star Plus show ‘Imlie’ is getting the love of the audiences. The current track of the show revolves around Imlie and Atharva getting closer. India Forums has exclusively reported that Cheeni will learn about Abhishek giving away most of his earnings in charity. This will irk Cheeni and she will plan to return to Arto.
In the previous episodes, actors Megha Chakraborty and Karan Vohra were seen delivering some difficult scenes. A drunken state scene followed by a rain sequence were loved by the audience as they got to see Atharva and Imlie connecting more. India Forums got in touch with Megha and asked her about her experience shooting for the sequences.
Honestly, the rain sequence was difficult to pull off as it’s quite chilly in Mumbai. We were shooting at an open space in Filmcity post lunch. The evening was about to approach and at that time, it gets quite chilly with cold breeze blowing across.

The drunken scene was like a breather as we got to play something that our characters are not. One can take the liberty and experiment in such scenes. Karan and I had performed a drunken scene before, so we knew the drill and it was quite fun shooting for the same. If the co-actor is understanding, you tend to ace such sequences better.”
Talking about the rain sequence, Megha added, “Honestly, the rain sequence was difficult to pull off as it’s quite chilly in Mumbai. We were shooting at an open space in Filmcity post lunch. The evening was about to approach and at that time, it gets quite chilly with cold breeze blowing across. After the sequence, we couldn’t change as we had another portion in which we both are drenched and indulge in a conversation. So, yes, it was difficult but quite different and fun. Also, the dancing bit was not pre-planned. It all happened when our director asked if I’ll be able to pull it off and I answered in positive and that’s how the chunk was shot."
