It was a fulfilling birthday for me: Rashmi Pitre

It was a special Christmas celebration for actress Rashmi Pitre who essays the character of Chaturi in Star Plus' popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum. The actress' birthday falls on Christmas and every year she celebrates her birthday and Christmas together.

TellyBuzz spoke to Rashmi to know more about her birthday and Christmas celebration, the gifts she received on and much more...

Rashmi told us, "I cut my birthday cake on the Christmas eve with my friends and family. I also celebrated Christmas along with my birthday. I bought a 9 ft. tall Christmas tree at my home and decorated the tree on my own. Few of the decorative items of the tree are made by me. My friends and family members surprised me by putting lots of gifts under the Christmas tree."

So, what gifts Rashmi received on her birthday. She shares, "I got lot of gifts like dresses, jewellery, dolls, teddy bear and painting kits as I love to paint."

Rashmi was showered with lots of wishes on her birthday by her loved ones and fans. Thanking everyone for their wishes, she said, "I have got lots of wishes from my friends and fans and I would like to thank each one of them. I am also thankful to Santa for bringing good people in my life. I am very happy and I would say that it was a fulfilling birthday for me."
