It is not my area of work, I improvised Armaan's character : Gashmeer Mahajani on TIMG being trolled

Gashmeer Mahajani who essays the character of Armaan in Colors TV's popular show 'Tere Ishq Meiin Ghayal' spoke about the show going off air, all the trolls on the show and whether or not will he be a part of the second season of the show. 

India Forums got in touch with Gahsmeer and we asked the actor about his initial reaction upon hearing the news of his show 'Tere Ishq Meiin Ghayal' going off-air and the actor said, ''Well, I knew it. When I signed the contract for Tere Ishq Meiin Ghayal, I had informed the makers about the availability of my dates. I informed them that I have time only until May and that from June, I will be busy with my upcoming projects. So, all of us knew that the show was a finite series. Right now too, I have come down to Mumbai after wrapping up the schedule of my film from Pune. There are a lot of other things happening and I am excited about that, but if you ask about the show, We all knew it that it is a finite series.''

Tere Ishq Meiin Ghayal, which is a remake of the popular saga 'The Vampire Diaries' has been subjected to a lot of trolling and comparisons online. We asked Gashmeer about the same and how does he react to the trolls. To this, the actor replied, ''This is not my area of work. The show being a remake of The Vampire Diaries was the look out of the channel and the makers. My only concern was to put in my best in Armaan. I discussed this with the makers. I told them that I will potray Armaan according to me, ofcourse, I did discuss it with the makers too, but then I improvised too. The premise of the show and the story telling is not my concern, it is the concern of the makers and the channel. I do not care. I wanted to do Armaan and I did it.''
