Actor Bhuvnesh Maan last
seen in Star Plus' revenge drama Ek Hasina Thi is on a sabbatical these days. While the actor's acting was quite liked by the viewers, we speak to Bhuvnesh about his experience, gaining immense popularity and more...
Bhuvnesh says, "It feels nice when your work is appreciated. For any actor it is very important that whatever he does on screen should be liked by the audience. If the audience likes your work nothing can stop you from becoming popular. Every actor wants to gain popularity, he wants that people should love him and his work. So definitely I am feeling great that people liked me and loved my work."
Adding further he says, "Popularity comes and goes that is what is part of this profession. I always believed that one should not get carried away with this as it might distract one and the focus should always remain more on the work you do."
Bhuvnesh' relation with Sanjeeda Shaikh who was his co-star was quite liked by the masses. When asked about the same he says, "Yes I am glad that people liked Durga and Dev's Jodi because it was as per the story's requirement and it was the way that our chemistry shaped up. It was never a love story but was all about a revenge. Also I would say Sanjeeda Shaikh is a very professional person and so do I, so we always tried to give our best and that is what I think worked out."
Ek Hasina THi which fetched Bhuvnesh a success, also marked his comeback. Commenting on the same he says, "Definitely it's a comeback for me on television. When I heard about the story and that it's a finite series, I thought it's a perfect time for a comeback. It is a very special show because it's a different show, the way the story progressed, the show sustained its numbers on TRP charts. Obviously it feels good when your work gets appreciated. But yes it's definitely a team work that brought good numbers for the show.
What is keeping Bhuvnesh busy these days? "These days I am just chilling with my family and enjoying the weather. I am not going on a vacation this time because I want to work as much as I can in this year. I am looking forward for some different and good work. I am waiting for any show that can excite me and of course after doing a good show your expectation increases but at same time you never know what comes your way. So I am just waiting for the show should be good and nice that can attract me to take it up."
We hope to see you back on the small screen soon!
