Ishita Dutta CONFIRMS being a part of Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki 2, says she's excited to work with Ekta

Well is it the latest trend to bring back old TV shows just like old movies are remade or what? After the success of Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot featuring Erica fernandes and Parth Samthaan in lead roles, now Ekta Kapoor is all set to bring back superhit show Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki. The original show featured Ssharad Malhotra and Kratika Sengar as the lead pair and the show was extremely loved by viewers.

Now ever since the news of the show being remade has surfaced, everybody has been wondering about the cast of the show. According to the latest reports, actress Ishita Dutta has been finalized to play the female lead of the show. Ishita was last seen opposite her husband and actor Vatsal Sheth in an episode of horror series Kaun Hai.

Ishita confirmed the news to a leading news portal, and sharing her excitement she said that she is thrilled about working with Ekta Kapoor who has given audience the best shows. She said that the show was loved by everyone and it's a huge responsibility to carry forward the legacy.   

As per sources the shoot will commence soon and the show is expected to hit the screen on 3rd week of May. Also unlike the original show, which was a typical family drama, this season will have thriller elements to add to the drama. Ishita's character name has been revealed as Palak.
