Though Hiten was popularly known as Pratham Mittal of Kutumb, Hiten got the creative satisfaction an actor needed from the role of Karan Virrani of Kyunki. In an earlier interview with Telly Buzz, Hiten said the following, “I loved playing Karan too. Karan has practically done every single thing. Name the emotion and Karan has done it… I’ve done action, romance, post leap I played a strong hearted father, so yea, I do think I’m creatively satisfied.”
Thus,
how can a role, so satisfying just come to an end? Going by the recent
rumours, it looks like we will soon be forced to bid farewell to the most
loved Jodi. The fact that the audience will not be seeing their perfect
chemistry again in Kyunki, has the whole nation in shock. "I
am not aware of such news at all. This news is probably coming out of
the star office. So they are the best people to answer this question."
says a shocked and confused Hiten. Isn't it surprising to know that,
the star himself is not aware of this drastic change in story line? Or
is this yet another publicity gimmick, an attempt to boost the TRPs?
When asked whether he has any intentions of leaving the serial, Hiten said – "Why will I leave? This is one character which is close to my heart. People asked me whether I want to continue post leap. When I did not leave the serial then, why will I do now, when my character is getting stronger by the day?" But then he adds – "Maybe the channel is planning something; they want to do it secretively. So they have not even informed us. Who knows what will happen. I do not know what is in store for the future." Seems, even he is clueless about his future in the serial.
So will this mean curtains to the most amazing
Onscreen Pair - Karan and Nandini? If this is the case, and with Smriti
already gone, what is it that will keep viewers glued to the longest
running Ekta show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi?
