Star Plus' Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has been under the scanner owing to its dipping TRPs for quite some time now. However, this time around, reports of the show finally going off air have surfaced on the internet.

A post on reddit states that the show will eventually be axed irrespective of the TRPs improving or staying the same. The report also suggested that the channel is on a lookout for a new show and only until they come up with a new show, the Param Singh and Vaibhavi Hankare starrer will enjoy its run. The said post was shared by Telly Whoopsy.

Well, to confirm the same, India Forums got in touch with Param Singh, the lead actor of the show. Speaking to us, Param revealed that he has no clue about these reports. ''I have no clue about this. We have not gotten any such news by the channel or by the makers, so I don't know where is this coming from,'' Param told us.

While there have been reports about the show being under the scanner, this news came as a shocker to not just the viewers of the show but to Param as well. Earlier speaking to us about the show's poor performance and being blamed for the same, the actor told us that these things do not bother him.

He said, ''I don't know about about that, that if it's been under the scanner or not. And I can only act and act with honesty and sincerity and act convincingly. Rest, I don't know what is happening in offices and who or what are the decision makers thinking. So my job is just to act and that's what I concentrate on. It only needs character. That's what my mind is always consumed with more than bothering.''
