Some collaborations may be limited but at times, they turn out to be rather iconic. One such has been in the form of actor Iqbal Khan and producer Ekta Kapoor. Their first show together Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai made Khan a heartthrob and gave Kapoor another big show then.

Later, they did have a couple of shows together but none of them was as successful as their first project together. And now, after all this time recent reports suggest that the duo is all set to reunite for a new project again.

According to a report in Bombay Times, Kapoor is currently working on a TV show that is said to be on the lines of Bandini, a show that made Aasiya Kazi a household name a decade ago. The production house is said to be keen on exploring a story on similar lines where an older hero is shown, who is married to a younger girl. And the journey will be about this unusual couple getting together to find solace with each other.

Khan has reportedly been approached to play the male lead's part and apparently, he has given a look test for the same. Khan was last seen in the Colors show, Dil Se Dil Tak but has starred in multiple web series ever since.
