IPL fever catches up in Ghar Ki Baat Hai..

In the coming episode of NDTV Imagine's Ghar Ki Baat Hai, produced by Red Chillies Idiot Box, the theme of woman's liberation is on focus.

According to our source, "Juhi Babbar as Radhika Yagnik is shown as a die hard fan of SRK, and Ali Asgar is playing her cousin Bittu who is made to wear clothes purchased by Radhika while shopping for IPL. She makes Bittu promote KKR since Kaku played by Swapnil Joshi is not at home and she wants to cheer for Kolkata Knight Riders. In the same episode Ali attempts to woo Alka Verma doing the cameo of Kitty. Alka is playing Jayati Bhatia's America return friend in the show and certain hilarious situations arise".

When asked Ali about the IPL promotion for Kolkata Knight Riders thro' the show, he says, "It was great promoting KKR being a part of SRK's production house. There was a thrill in doing this. I was feeling very high in the complete cricketer's get-up".

Ask Ali which team he favors personally in the IPL, he says, "I will be supporting KKR. IPL is very interesting to watch, but the sad part is that it has eaten up our industry. Even then, it is a new variation to cricket".

Ali was also seen doing a take-off on Shashi Kapoor while wooing Kitty.
