"Indraneil is very proud of me" - Barkha Bisht Sengupta

Giving out the details, she says,"When Indraneil saw me on screen, he stated that it was my best performance till now and is very proud of me. The industry reaction is also good, people loved my character and have been appreciating it," says Barkha.

Elaborating on her husband's reaction, she add,"My hubby said that I've stepped out of being Barkha in this film and did a very challenging role in a beautiful way. Indraneil believes that actors' performance does suffer on small screen since we have to meet the deadline of daily schedules. He also stated that I have the potential but on TV it was never exploited though in Ram Leela, Sanjay Leela Bansali has done that very well."

Currently, the dusky actress is busy with her stint in Bengali films, "I had already done one film and am about to start with my next film in coming weeks. I'm enjoying the medium of the films may it be Bengali or Hindi cinema. For me the work has to be good and if I get a good offer from TV as well, I wouldn't mind doing it. One thing is for sure that I would never quit television."

Indraneil and Barkha both are busy with their shooting schedule, so how do they manage to spend time with each other and especially with their daughter? "Well, currently I have more time than Indraneil. He is so busy that he doesn't even have time to breathe. I shoot for few days in a month only thus I'm there for Meira," concludes the dusky actress.
