Born in a Bengali family in Kolkata, Isha completed her Bachelors In Law in the year 2015 and made her acting debut with Star Jalsha's 'Jhanjh Lobongo Phool,' in the year 2916. The actress further made her Bengali film debut with Anindya Chatterjee's 'Projapoti Biskut' in the year 2017. Post that, the actress went ahead to be a part of a number of Bengali films, including the Guptodhon franchise, Sweater, Golondhaaj and many more. She gained popularity for her performance in the film 'Sweater.'

Relationship with Indraneil Sengupta:

Several reports surrounding the actress' 'secret relationship' with Indraneil started doing rounds after the reports of the actor's 13 year marriage with wife Barkha Bisht falling apart came to light in the media. From rumours about their 'secret video calls,' to the actress going to meet Sengupta 'secretly in a deglam look' popped up on the internet, day in and day out. However, both Indraneil and Ishaa rubbished these rumours. Reports suggested that the actors 'started seeing each other' after they worked together in the film 'Tarulotar Bhut.'

In 2022, Indraneil, addressed the said reports and called the said reports 'rubbish.' In an interview, the actor said, ''I also heard of such things. However, I did not comment, and neither did Ishaa. If a third person spreads rumour about us, we have nothing to say. No one apart from me knows who I am chatting with. I am not that fool. In 2023, Ishaa too reacted to the reports and blasted the media for spreading 'rumours.' ''I am exasperated with the media reports. I don’t owe anyone any explanation. But some publications wrote that I ‘secretly’ went there in a ‘de-glam look’. It is rubbish. I went there, posed for the media, and talked to everyone. There was no secrecy. Also, those publications linked me up with another actor and director. This is ridiculous. I won’t tolerate this lack of dignity,'' Isha told a media portal as she refused to comment on her 'linkup rumour,' stating that she had not commented on her previous relationship and breakup and will not comment on the linkup rumour this time too.
