India-Forums' gift to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai!

Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been going strong since its inception. And one of the main reasons for the show to become such a huge hit is its vast fandom. Spread across countries, the show has garnered such love and appreciation that it motivates the makers to go on and on.

We have also seen many instances where these said fans contribute to their favorite show. And one such instance recently occurred with us. We, at India Forums, got the opportunity to contribute to the show big time and we grabbed it with both hands.

The forum of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on India Forums, rechristened the adorable jodi of Naira and Kartik as 'Kaira'. The role of Naira is essayed by Shivangi Joshi and Kartik is played by Mohsin Khan.

The name 'Kaira spread so far and so wide that the makers have decided to incorporate the name in their show.

And this is how 'Kaira' will be incorporated into the storyline. It will so happen that Mishti, who is close to Kartik, is aware of his liking for Naira. And as the family is about to head to Switzerland, Mishti requests Kartik that she wants Kartik and Naira to become 'Kaira', by the time they return from Switzerland.

When we spoke to Rajan Shahi, he told us, "On the response and feedback received from the fans, we also loved the name because it's very nice and a sweet name and my team decided to use the name 'Kaira'. In a way, it's our way of showing gratitude and thank the audiences/fans and a way of acknowledging their love to make them popular. This name will be there until Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata exists. We are overwhelmed with the love of audiences and the show recently completed 2200 episodes."
