Anurag Kashyap's co-production 'Udta Punjab' is facing problems as it tells the story of drug abuse in Punjab! There were rumors that the movie is banned but Anurag cleared the air by tweeting that the process is still going on.
But today (7th June) he took to twitter and posted series of tweets to express his views after the Censor Board demanded for 89 cuts in the film.

But even after what happened he wants political parties to stay out of this thing. He says it's his fight with Censorship. As the current government is being run by BJP, he mentioned the name of opposition parties like AAP & Congress to stay away!
Directed by Abhishek Chaubhey the film stars Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles. The film depicts how the youth in Indian state of Punjab are succumbed to drugs.
