Imlie: Agastya proposes to Imlie, Meera's truth ruins it

Imlie notices a red velvet cake and questions Agastya if it has "Happy Birthday, Jugnu" written on it. Nervously, Agastya admits that he had "I Love You" written on the cake for Jugnu, who is his best friend. He playfully force-feeds cake to Jugnu, and Imlie, observing a box in Agastya's pocket, takes it, suggesting he give it to the intended person. Agastya dismisses her, asking her to call her kaaki maa for dinner, and Imlie walks away. Jugnu, curious, questions Agastya about not proposing to Imlie despite putting in so much effort. Agastya insists that Imlie deserves a perfect proposal.

Later, Imlie notices Meera preparing to leave with a cloth bundle. Meera explains that Alka is becoming suspicious, and she needs to leave before being exposed. Agastya intervenes, stopping Meera and declaring that he has an important announcement to make. He gathers the family, kneels in front of Imlie, and proposes to her with a ring. However, Alka interrupts, accusing Imlie of betraying them by bringing the woman who destroyed their family. Meera's identity is revealed, leading to shock and chaos. As Meera defends herself, Agastya drops the proposal ring in shock, and Alka forcefully kicks Meera out of the house.

Meera emotionally bids farewell to Imlie, advising her not to worry about her and to stay in the house. Agastya silently watches this unfold. Back at home, Imlie cries while picking up Agastya's proposal ring. Agastya, lost in his thoughts, plays the piano. Govind tries to comfort him, and Alka questions Imlie about whether she knew Meera was Agastya's mother. Daadi vouches for Imlie's honesty and warns Alka not to trouble Imlie. Agastya and Daadi both walk away from the situation.

In a separate development, Imlie goes to Meera's house and expresses a desire to learn about Agastya's father's story. Meanwhile, Bulbul escapes from a factory and informs a man about someone trying to kill them. The man turns out to be the blind watchman's son and takes Bulbul back to the factory.

The episode ends with Meera narrating her past, revealing her marriage to Kunal, Agastya's birth, and the accusations that led to her imprisonment. A masked killer appears, and the narrative hints at a looming threat to Imlie and Meera in the upcoming events.
