I'm taking the role completely with a fresh approach: Ayesha Kapoor on replacing Vaidehi Nair in ‘Raazz Mahal’

Actress Vaidehi Nair, who was seen in the daily soap Raazz Mahal as Tara has quit the show, and makers have roped in ‘Sherdil Shergill’ and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ actress Ayesha Kapoor to continue her character.

Sources close to the show revealed, "Vaidehi left the show last week, and to fill in the space, makers have roped in Ayesha. She has joined the show to play Tara, who is the sister of the heroine (Neha Harsora) and is very significant in the story. The track revolves around how the protagonist fights black magic and evil power. Now soon, the track will revolve around Tara entering her sister's in-laws' house and helping her in her battles."

We tried to contact Vaidehi Nair, who is gearing up for her Bollywood debut in Taapsee Pannu's next film, ‘Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan’, but got no revert till the time of filing the story.

We dialled Ayesha’s number for confirmation, and she said, “Yes, I am doing the project. I'm happy to join the cast and find the role of Tara very interesting. It will be the first time I'm doing a supernatural show. I'm looking forward to starting my shoots today. And I'm taking the role completely with a fresh approach. I didn't watch any previous episodes."

The show also features Himanshu Soni and Ridheema Tiwari.
