National award winner Ayushmann Khurrana has entertained the audience throughout his seven years of career in Bollywood. From debuting as a sperm donor to playing a blind pianist and a cop who fights the age-old casteism in rural India, along with playing boy-next-door roles, the A-lister actor has nailed his every performance. Currently, the actor is on cloud nine as his Dream Girl releases today and the movie is already receiving positive reviews from all the end of the country.

Known for stepping into the shoes of characters who deal with social issues, Ayushmann is all set to tickle our funny bones again with his recent released. After weeks of promoting the movies to various entertainment websites, the 34-year-old actor was about the age-old question on Nepotism in Bollywood.

When asked whether he feels that Nepotism prevails in the industry and if star kids get it easy as opposed to someone like him who comes from a non-filmy background, Ayushmann said, “I think this is the best phase, the best career to be on the list. If you're talented, you will get your due. Be it as a journalist, an actor, a director. It is beyond the realms of nepotism. Even star kids have their own troubles. But I think this is the best era to be an artist. I guess, I was in the right place at the right time.”

Dream Girl follows the journey of a man who makes a living by playing not only female mythological characters like Radha and Sita in street-plays, but also impersonates a seductive female named Pooja who talks to the customers and makes them fall in love with his fictitious character while working in a call centre.

Post Dream Girl Ayushmann will be seen in Bala, Gulabo Sitaabo and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.
