You're going through such a great phase in life, Grand Masti releases this month followed by Krissh 3. Ecstatic?
I could not have asked for more. With phenomenal success of India's Best Dramebaaz, then our prince coming into our lives and now Grand Masti. That promo that erupted on social media some 40-50 days ago. Its interesting. In the world of twitter, you get live feedback all the time. That is nice. The Krissh promo that has been breaking record after record. Having said that, I think the kind of person I am, the kind of perspective I have in my life, I feel there is so much to be thankful for in life anyway.
When Masti happened, you were not married. What fireworks happened at home when your wife got to know about this dangerous joyride called Grand Masti?
It was quite funny actually. I was listening to the narration at my house, 1 heart attack after the other I was listening to. I mean if Masti pushed the envelope, this film has torn the envelope. They were narrating the script, my wife being a good, polite host came with coffee and everything. In that process she overheard one or two scenes. I just saw her expression, her eyes popped out, she was in shock thinking my husband will do all this. (Laughs). I called Riteish and told him that this film is mad and outrageous. I call him dadu because in this genre, he is the ultimate. He is the 'Baap'. He started with us in Masti, then Kya Kool Hain Hum, Apna Sapna Money Money, Kya Super Kool Hain Hum and now Grand Masti has taken it another level only. When I called him and discussed as to what to do, he made a very valid point.
Was Ajay Devgn missed on the set this time?
We missed him. I personally have done 5 films with Ajay. But this script had no space for Archana ji (Puran Singh) and Ajay. I mean these 2 people we really wanted in the film. But if you bring actors of such a stature then you should have a character that justifies their need.

Possible. But you know, all of us saw American Pie with no star cast in it and liked it. Same thing with Hangover. It could be that also that people feel that it could be a moment of the youth and it might work. But I think established team like us somewhere pushes the film a little, according to me.
It is a difficult genre because unfortunately we Indians need to grow up a little bit. We send each other all kinds of messages but wont talk about it infront of someone who we think might judge us.
