Kunwar Amarjeet Singh who was recently in news for filing a complaint against his manager is looking for a creative high & apparently would love to play a historical character.

In recent times, television has been experimenting with different historical shows & audiences have taken to liking shows like Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Jodha Akbar which are unlike daily soaps which is comparatively garnering enough audiences as expected & more actors are keen to bag these roles & step in the shoes of yesteryear's heroes.

Amar had started his journey as a participant of a dance reality show, Dance India Dance, & then he went on to make his acting debut with a one-of-a-kind dance show, Channel V Dil Dosti Dance, is looking for challenging work & would love to see himself in the historical-non â€“fiction space of television.

"Makers of such shows are spending huge funds on creating humongous sets, getting the actors to learn horse riding & using the sword for the finesse as that of the original heroes. It is more than just acting. The actor undergoes a thorough learning. Also viewers watch these shows because there is our Indiaâ€™s history in it. I'm up for such challenging roles."
