"I will win Bigg Boss4"- The Great Khali

 "The Governor and Mayor of Albuquerque declared 13 August 2009 as The Great Khali Day, in the National Capital Region the Municipal Corporation has constructed  a road in his name (The Great Khali Road) and not just that, there is an ATM in Guragaon in his name" says Amit Swami, the friend and promoter of The Great Khali. Isn't it great to know that an Indian from a small town is now recognized worldwide?

The news is already out that The Great Khali is coming to Bigg Boss 4 and the man is all geared up to step into the house like any other contestant. But everyone is eagerly waiting to see how he is going to adjust amidst the tension that has already erupted in Bigg Boss.

We had an interview with this man, simple by nature, about his entry in the show and what he is looking forward to.   

How were you approached for the show?
The channel people contacted the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) to let me in the show and the organization gave me permission to take part as a contestant.

What was the reason that made you say 'yes' to the show?
People have always known me as a wrestler and an actor but not as a person. Through this show I can reach my fans and they will know Khali as a person and I feel Bigg Boss is the best means to show my personal life.

In a show like Bigg Boss you will have to stay away from your family and friends. Whom all will you miss?
I will miss my wife, my parents and friends a lot as they have been always there with me.

Bigg Boss has been in a controversy with Shiv Sena regarding the inclusion of Pakistani's in the show. How will you react to it?
I am not aware of the issue therefore I would not like to comment about it.

You are the only wrestler from India that has reached to an international level through WWE, how do you feel?
I feel really good and lucky to be a part of the WWE team. There are people who are still looking forward to be a part of the show, and I am glad that I made it to the ring.

How is Khali in real life?
khali in real life is cool and the best.

People in Bigg Boss are controversial in some way or the other, but you don't have any such records as of now. So how are you going to adjust with these people?
As of now I don't know anything about the people who are already there in the show, but I will at my best in Bigg Boss and will show how a good person has to be. I am sure I will be able to adjust with these people.

You are also known as the Punjabi Playboy. How is Khali in this role?
You will get to know that when you watch Bigg Boss.

 How will you enter Bigg Boss, as The Great Khali or as Punjabi Playboy?
I am going to enter Bigg Boss in both the roles.

After entering Bigg Boss, you will be completely out of touch with the outside world and there will be no one to take care of your routine. How are you going to adjust?
I used to go to gym everyday and henceforth I will continue my work out through the show and regarding the food, I know I can adjust with what I get in the house.

You are a silent person in general and in Bigg Boss the chat never ends. Will you be able to adjust in such an ambience?
I am a very simple person and I will adjust with people around me and the rest is yet to be watched out.

Salman Khan said he is a big fan of yours, how would you like to react to this?
Actually I am a fan of Salman and I am really looking forward to meet him. He is popular for his work and in the same way I am also popular for my work and we respect each other for the work we do.

Are you apprehensive of what will happen in the show?
Absolutely! I am nervous but at the same time excited too to enter in such a show where our personal life is open to the audience.

Any messge to the audience?
Watch the show for me and I am sure you can see me win.

Having known very little about the show and the actions in the house it will be interesting to see how Khali is going to conform to the already edgy environment.
