I was shocked to learn that Ankit cried on my eviction: Priyanka Choudhary of 'Bigg Boss 16'

‘Bigg Boss 16’ has come to an end. 

The show went on air for about five months and after a successful run, the show has finally concluded. ‘Bigg Boss 16’ witnessed the who’s who from the entertainment industry coming together to play the game to survival and the show had five finalists with dynamic personalities. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Shiv Thakare, MC Stan, Archana Gautam and Shalin Bhanot were the five finalists. While Shalin Bhanot finished his journey at fifth spot, Archana Gautam became the third finalist. 

One of the most shocking evictions was that of Priyanka Chahar Choudhary’s. While most of the audiences were expecting her to lift the winners’ trophy, Priyanka walked out of the show as the second runner up of the show. To everyone’s disbelief, Priyanka couldn’t make it to the top 2 contestants of the show, however, she took the decision gracefully and marched out of the house with a big smile. While her friend and co-contestant Ankit Gupta had a little breakdown, Salman Khan appreciated the grace and the sportsmanship that Priyanka showcased.

When asked if she was disappointed with her eviction at the third spot, Priyanka said, “Well, I am quite happy seeing everybody’s reactions on me being the second runner up. Their disappointment made me realize that people were cheering for me to be in the top 2 or probably even lift the trophy and I’m happy that people considered me a strong competitor. Coming back to myself, I’m quite practical and thus I was prepared for it. Instead of having high hopes of winning and ending up disappointed, I preferred being prepared for anything. I’m happy with my journey in the show”.

We asked Priyanka about her friend Ankit getting emotional on her eviction, she said, “Well, that was quite shocking for me. Ankit expressing his hurt came as a shock to me but I’m sure, he was cheering for me and wanted me to win desperately thus he got emotional when things didn’t materialize”.

Talking about playing alone against many contestants, Priyanka said, “It’s very easy for me to deal with such situations as I don’t really take the load and stress. I only used to stress about Salman Sir and his thoughts on my game. Nothing else really bothered me much”.
