I still feel shy looking at Vivek - Divyanka Tripathi

The Queen Bee of millions of hearts got married in the month of July to the man of her dream and Yeh hai Mohabbatein co-star Vivek Dahiya. Tellybuzz got exclusively in touch with the new bride who chatted away with us about her marital life...

How is married life going?

Married life is definitely awesome, I would motivate everybody around to get married to the perfect life partner which is very important. If you get someone right in your life, you should never give a second thought. I am totally enjoying my married life and I am really blessed and lucky to have such lovey people in my life. 

Tell us more about Vivek as a husband?

If I start talking about Vivek, it can go nonstop; I am so lucky to have him in my life. He surprises me every day with something or other. Recently, the cutest all happened when on one day I reached late night from the shoot and found a note on my pillow which read 'tum ho meri biwi no 1'. These are the small things in life which don't need a lot of time all; you need is a thought and I am really lucky to get married to one such guy in my life and also, I am suprised that how I am at the receiving end of love.

How has life changed after marriage?

Its has changed beautifully but nothing has changed much; the only change being we've now got the freedom to see each other in Public. Still, I feel that he is my boyfriend, I still feel shy seeing him, the newest spark is still there and things are getting better and beautiful. The only change is that people now call me Mrs. Dahiya or Mrs. Vivek. 

Have you cooked for Vivek after marriage?

We are not the typical husband and wife who assume that since I am at home, I will cook or something. Sometimes, when I have to leave early, Vivek cooks the breakfast. We make oatmeals for each other. But making green tea is my department. Luckily, there is no jhanjhat to make parathas as he is a very health conscious person and does not eat them. He and I, both prefer eating oats.

How do you match up to each other schedule?

After our quick marriage, I thought I would be sad to come back so early, but I was damn sleepy. Then, when I reported back to shoot, I thought I'll not feel like shooting, but on the contrary, I loved being back to work. For me, my work is my spa, sauna and everything. I love working. After marriage, press, fans and family and everything, I really enjoyed coming back to work. We catch up on each other's set, generally after pack up I go on his set or he comes here, that's all we can do because of the timing.

Your message to fans?

I and my fans share a unique bond. I am from a middle-class family and brought up in simple situations. Therefore, I connect with my fans and am thankful to them for this bond.
