"I have started taking interest in cooking" - Giaa Manek

As we know that our TV celebs are very much conscious about their figure, but they never miss a chance to have lots and lots of food whenever they get a chance. Our Telly celebs love to be known as a foodie. One such big time food lover is the bubbly actress Giaa Manek who was last seen as Jeannie in SAB TV's popular show Jeannie Aur Juju.

Are you a foodie?

I am completely a foodie. I love eating.

What is your most preferred cuisine?

Non vegetarian.

Your favorite mouthwatering dish?

My favorite mouthwatering dish is Tandoori Chicken.

Which restaurant you prefer the most?

There are many restaurants I don't have any specific place because all restaurants has their own best dishes. I prefer those restaurants which serve well cooked and spicy non vegetarian dishes. But let me tell you at Malad there is place where you will get an authentic idli cooked by Anna. He comes on a bi-cycle at 11 pm and serves very tasty and delicious cold coffee. Trust me he serves best idli and coffee and many a times I go at 11 and stand on the road to eat that idili and world's best coffee which you won't get even in the five star hotel.

Do you like spending time in the kitchen?

Yes, I go to the kitchen and learn to make food from my mother. As I have taken a break, I have started taking interest in cooking.

What is the most memorable kitchen moment, be it happy or a disastrous one?

Once I made a cheese omelet for my mother of course with her help and it turned out to be very tasty and so it is my most memorable kitchen moment. Though I made it for mother, but it was so tasty that I ate half of it.

Which is your favorite quick cheap healthy meal?

A fruit and an egg brown bread toast.

If you have to take a celebrity on a date who would it be?

Salman Khan, I just love him.
