'I have fainted so many times on the sets' - Sarah Khan

Sarah Khan plays the fairer and the more beautiful of the two protagonists of Star Plus' new soap, Sapna Baabul Ka-Bidaai.. As Sadhana, Sarah has gained viewers' attention, and her dedication to work has been the talk of the town recently, as even after fainting many a times on sets, she went on and gave her best during shooting.

Here, Telly Buzz brings you a chit-chat with the new find, Sarah Khan.

Can you please tell us something about your self?

I have recently finished my 12^th, and I’ve shifted to Mumbai, here with my mother. I am actually from MP. I am not too used to Mumbai life, so its getting a little tough.

Do you plan to continue studying?

Yes, I do. I will be doing distance education.

How did you get the role?

Actually a family friend of mine, came over to our house, and took a few shots of me, and came to Mumbai with the shots, and then one day, I got a call that I was selected for the role, and I came here.

Tell us something about your character in the story?

My character is very nice. I play a positive character, who faces some problems in her life. I play Sadhana who loves her sister Ragini a lot.

How has the work environment been?

It’s been really nice. Everyone here is like a family to me. Parul takes care of me a lot, and we have a lot of fun shooting.

Are you coping up with the stressful conditions of working in the television industry?

I am trying to. Its been very stressful. I have fainted so many times on sets, and its been too much to handle, but our director is so nice to us, he helps us out a lot.

Are you planning to step onto the big screen in the future?

Yes, why not? I am here to be an actress, and I would definitely want to go on the big screen.

Was it difficult to act in front of big stars like Alok Nath?

No, not all. I wasn’t nervous when I saw them. But I must say that Alokji has been very friendly to us, and he helped us out a lot in the early days of the shoot.
