I got a call from Karan Sir: Manish Paul discloses his reaction post being approached for 'JugJugg Jeeyo'

Bollywood's upcoming film JugJugg Jeeyo has become the talk of the town and is continuing to make the buzz. From their viral Nach Punjaaban challenge to RangiSari song, every aspect related to the film is grabbing eyeballs. 

While the team is currently busy with the promotions host and actor Manish Paul in conversation with India Forums talked about his initial reaction when he was approached for the film.

Manish said

"I was a little blank. I got a call from Karan Sir and Raj Sir. Karan Sir just said ek film hai aur ye role hai mujhe lagta hai tumhe karna chahiye. Later, Raj Sir called up to have a meeting, he narrated the scenes to me and asked me what do you think, I said Mein yeh film toh kar hi raha hu, Raj said at least let me complete. I said no, then he asked why I told him Karan Sir ka call aya so its the end of the story."

He further continued saying,

"For me the kind of respect and regard I have for Karan Johar, I don't think I will ever question him about what role are you giving me, what is the duration of the role, I was just sure that I want to do it. So we made this film like a family and that will definitely get across to people."

He also talked about the friendship and bond that he shares with Karan Johar over the period of years.

JugJugg Jeeyo, starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, and Anil Kapoor. Helmed by Raj Mehta, it is a family drama that will take you on a ride of entertainment and emotions. The film is slated to release on June 24th.
