Maniesh Paul reveals encountering INSECURE ACTORS while hosting: 'Aap jyda chamakna chahte ho? Main..'

Maniesh Paul, one of the finest and most loved hosts on Indian television, recently revealed how he started hosting shows in the first place. The actor, who has starred in popular films like 'Jug Jug Jeeyo,' 'Tees Maar Khan,' 'Tere Bin Laden' and more revealed how some actors get insecure when he is sharing the stage with them and also how he deals with such people.

In a conversation with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachhiya for their podcast, Maniesh, opening up on how 'big' actors are extremely 'warm' and they let you shine if they notice a spark in you, says, ''Jab main naye naye award nights mein gaya tha toh maine pehli baar sabko live dekha. Ye Bachchan sahab aagaye, ye Shahrukh sir aagaye, ye Akshay Kumar aagaye, aur main ye sab dekh raha hoon. Matlab main toh Malviya nagar ka ladka hoon aur suddenly Amitabh sir se baat kar raha hoon, 'kaise hai sir aap? ekdum badiya? ghabra toh nahi rahe,' matlab ye bol ne ki himmat kaha se aagayi? Matlab yaar he is Amitabh Bachchan.''

''Par woh log bhi, jo bade actors hai na, jo genuine actors hai, woh log bhi aapko woh warmth dete hai. Agar aap mein unko woh spark dikhta hai, wo dabate nahi hai aapko, woh hai actual actors. Woh bhi actors hai jinko agar woh spark dikhta hai toh khade hote hai 'pss' daal ne ke liye,'' Maniesh adds further.

When asked how does he deal with actors who fit in the second cateogory, Maniesh reveals his mother's saying to him and states that she'd always say that the sun will always shine, no matter how cloudy it gets, when it is time for the sun to shine, no one can stop it.

''Aap mujhe second row mein rakho, third row mein rakho, mujhe studio ke bahar khada kar ke hosting kara do, main phir bhi chamkunga. Kyunki maine kaam kar na hai, main kisi ko neecha dikhane aaya hi nahi. Kyunki focus hi nahi hai na. Main har ek ko ye baat bolta hoon, hum yahan par sirf apne kaam ke badalaut hai, apne jooto ke, kapdo ke, ghadiyon ke badaulat nahi,'' says the MIkey Virus actor.

Further, Maniesh adds that he senses 'insecure actors' and reveals what he does when he senses something like this. He says, ''Mujhe dikh jaata hai, kahi na kahi main bhaanp leta hoon ke ye actor thoda sa insecure horaha hai. Toh main kabhi bhi apne aap ko aage kar ne ki koshish nahi karta hoon, main kehta hoon aap aage hojao. Kyunki mere ghar mehmaan aaya hai. Toh aap mere mehmaan ho. Main hamesha isi baat mein believe karta hoon ke aap mere mehmaan ho, aap jyda chamakna chahte ho? Kyun nahi, main jyda taarifein karunga aapki. Maine toh woh bhi dekhe hai log, ke bahut time baad mujhe introduce kia ja raha tha aur backstage main aise introduction padh raha hoon ke likha hai 'this, that, Sultan of stage,' aur jab introduce karna tha toh uss ladke ne kaha, 'please welcome Maniesh Paul.' Sharing his beliefs, Maniesh says, ''Mujhe koi farak nahi padta kisi ki chaar taarif kar ne mein. Aap taarif karoge, wo brahmand mein jayegi, 5 taarife aap ke paas ghum ke aayegi. Main woh believe karta hoon, matlab kya fayda ek dusre ko neecha dikha ke? Mujhe toh bahut kharab lagti hai ye baatein.''

For the uninformed, Maniesh started his hosting gig with Zee TV's 'Ghar Ghar Meim,' and in the same podcast, also expressed gratitude to the channel for giving him a platform.
