Actor Chintan Rachchh made his debut with the Netflix series Class, which is an Indian adaptation of the Spanish series Elite, opens up about his experience going from the boy-next-door to now a rising star.

A test of an actor is playing someone who’s split in so many ways that he moves forward while looking backwards and vice versa, and Chintan is already a master. Ever since the actor made his debut in Netflix series Class, he has caught the attention of the audience and critics. And now, the actor opens up about his experience shooting the series, giving a closer look at his character and the love and appreciation he has been receiving. Chintan goes on to say, "My journey till here has been quite overwhelming, I come from a middle-class Gujarati family. To pursue acting in such a household is a task, and it begins with a big ‘NO’ from your parents. (laughs) But eventually, my parents came to terms with what I wanted in life. And now here I am, living my dream"

Talking about his character, Chintan continues, "I didn’t relate to a single attribute of Faruq. I had to work on a few things, starting with the vocals, grasping his posture, the external factors, and finally understanding the psychology of the character. I wanted it to be very real and not a superficial character. I really tried my best to give my best, keeping in mind how sensitive the character is. The only part I relate to with Faruq is how he suppresses his feelings. And also his very rave fashion sense!"

The actor further says, "I am very humbled and grateful for this opportunity and the love I have been receiving ever since the announcement. I couldn't have asked more. The messages from the audience has been so humbling and overwhelming. I am just taking it all in for now and enjoying the appreciation"

For the unversed, Chintan Rachchh started his career as a poet and theatre artist and now made his Bollywood debut in the Netflix series- Class which also stars Anjali Sivaraman, Piyush Khati, Gurfateh Pirzada and Ayesha Kanga.
