New Delhi, July 11 (IANS) Reality show 'D3 Commando Force - Dadagiri Against Terrorism' winner Akshay Chand said he feels 100 times stronger and is ready to face challenges after a month of rigorous physical training and military warfare.

'The entire experience has made me more a responsible human being. It was painful but life-changing opportunity that helped me see myself in new light,' Chand, who walked away with a cash prize of Rs.10 lakh, told IANS.

The 25-year-old Delhiite was among the 14 participants trained in military tactics by experts and ex-armymen Captain Albert Louis, Captain Kshitij Sharma and Captain Dharamveer Singh.

'We were put through extremely tedious physical tasks. I was not sure that I would be able to make it to the end. I have realised it is about pushing your limits. I kept telling myself 'you can do it',' said Chand, who worked at a call centre before entering the show.

'I feel 100 times stronger now and confident enough to face any kind of situation that comes my way. I would love to do something for my country.'

He said after participating in the show, he has started respecting the soldiers more.

'My stint has made me realise what all the soldiers of our country go through and how they deal with various challenges. I have started respecting them more,' Chand added.

Chand is not willing to keep whatever he has learned during his stint in the show to himself and plans to share it with other people.

'My only motive right now is to open a martial arts institute. With the prize money, I plan to find some place where I can teach others this form of physical combat,' he said.
