I am always excited about a new journey: Seema Kapoor

Talking about her choice to pick up a show like Razia Sultan she says, "Its always prestigious to work in a historical show and I am happy to be a part of Razia Sultan. Whenever, I pick a role my homework begins from the day itself. When I came to know that I am essaying Samshad Begum, I started working on the character in my mind."

Describing how excited she is for her new venture, she avers, "I am always excited about a new journey. Its an actors job to essay each character with new enthusiasm and energy. I feel if I can essay 12 characters in one play then this role is really easy for me."

Talking about the bond she shares with her co-stars she says, "The atmosphere on the set is very positive. We actually feel that we are in some mahal. Razia (Pankhuri Awasthi ) is the cutest person on our set."

Talking about her expectations from the show, she says, "I am very  optimistic about this show. Its for the first time on Indian television, audience are watching the history of Razia Sultan. The concept is very much related to modern time. It talks about women so I think people will watch this show."
