Hrithik Roshan’s maternal grandfather and veteran producer-director, J Om Prakash left for heavenly abode on August 7, 2019. The details of his demise still remain unknown. He is best known for hit films like Arpan, Aakhir Kyon?, Aapki Kasam, Aadmi Khilona Hai, Aya Sawan Jhoom Ke, Aaye Din Bahar K and a lot more.
However, there are some other disclosures made regarding the late filmmaker. A Spotboye report has revealed the details Om Prakash wrote in his will before dying. Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik along with ex-wife Sussanne Khan among others offered their condolences and the last rites were performed by Hrithik himself. However, the report stated that there will be no prayer meet following in the coming days.
The 93-year-old J Om Prakash had specially instructed his family members, including daughter Pinky, son-in-law Rakesh and grandson Hrithik, that he does not want a prayer meeting to be conducted when he is no more. In fact, he made quite an emphatic mention of this in his will too.
A source told the entertainment portal, "Roshans will obviously respect this. Hence, no prayer meet."
As per the report, J Om Prakash had also written in the will that his ashes need to be immersed at a nearby beach and there's no need to go to far-flung holy places in the North or even to Nashik. "So, no asthi visarjan outside Mumbai. The ashes will be immersed in the Juhu beach, tomorrow,” added the source.
Rakesh Roshan, too confirmed the same when he was contacted by the website.
