Who knew, the soft spoken, mild mannered A. R. Rahman will be causing an uproar in the world? Rahman is going places for sure. After winning BAFTA, Golden Globes and Oscars for the music of Slumdog Millionaire and movie still going places along with his music.... recent, being Japan, Rahman's euphoria, seems, is here to stay.

Now, Rahman has become hot property in Hollywood. His current stint would be the music of a romantic comedy written by the Iron Man famed Jon Favreau called Couples Retreat. IMDB says, the movie is "centered around four couples who settle into a tropical-island resort for a vacation. While one of the couples is there to work on the marriage, the others fail to realize that participation in the resort's therapy sessions is not optional."

The movie will be directed by first timer Peter Billingsley and the ensemble boasts of stars like Heroes's Elle, Kristin Bell, 27 Dresses' younger sister, Malin Akerman, Juno's good-for-nothing husband Jason Bateman, The Breakup's husband, Vince Vaughn, Iron Man famed, Jon Favreau and Sex In The City's Kristin Davis.

Rahman is surely going places. After being featured in the People's magazine where his testimonials included his mother talking about his dedication to work that he has to be reminded to even have food, and winning loads of awards, he still remains humble and commited to work and his family. He says "It is too exhausting to have many films on hand. We all need a personal life. I need to spend quality time with my family."

Isn't it great that Indians are going places and are being recognized and loved all over the world? What do you think, what would "Couples Retreat" music be like?
