Hina Khan pens emotional Father's Day post, recalls memories with late dad: 'Aapki yaad aati hai'

On Father’s Day 2025, actor Hina Khan remembered her father, Aslam Khan, with an emotional Instagram post. Hina lost her father to a cardiac arrest in 2021, and this year, the memory hit deeper as it came just days after a personal milestone — her marriage to longtime partner Rocky Jaiswal.

Sharing a childhood photo of herself resting in her father's arms, Hina wrote, “Kya likun mai Dad. Aapki yaad aati hai, bohot… Always. Your strongest girl.” Her words struck a chord with fans, many of whom are aware of her current health battle. Hina is undergoing treatment for stage 3 breast cancer, a diagnosis she recently made public.

Despite the ongoing health challenge, Hina tied the knot with Rocky in a quiet ceremony on June 4 in Mumbai. Only close friends and family attended the wedding, which was kept private. The actor had initially planned a celebration for the paparazzi on June 12, but called it off after the Ahmedabad plane crash involving an Air India flight. The incident claimed many lives, prompting her to postpone the event.

Addressing the media with a video message, Hina shared, “Ek bohot hi important baat hai. Kal maine aap sabko aane ke liye kaha tha — humne socha tha ki ek chhota sa celebration rakhenge. Lekin kal jo bhi hua, woh bohot hi dukhad ek tragedy thi. Mujhe nahi lagta ki humein is waqt koi celebration karna chahiye. Toh hum ise postpone kar rahe hain, aur next time karenge. Sorry.”

Hina’s decision to cancel the celebration was appreciated by many, who lauded her sensitivity during such a time. Professionally, Hina and Rocky are set to appear together in a new reality show titled Pati Patni Aur Panga. This will be their first on-screen collaboration as a married couple, combining both their personal and professional lives. The project has sparked interest, especially among fans who have followed their journey over the years.
