Sony TV's newly launched show, Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai has managed to garner interest and many people are loving the fresh breath of air that the show exhibits.
As known, the show marks the debut of actors, Namit Khanna and Palak Jain on the tube.
However, many seem to mark the fact that the show airs on a later time slot of that of 11 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. And for a youth-oriented love story, the time slot did seem a little unassuring, isn't it?
Well, in a vis-a-vis conversation with Namit, we asked him if he thinks the same, to which he said, "To be very honest, I was indeed disappointed with the fact that we got an 11 pm slot initially. I did feel it is a tad too late for a show like ours to be aired. But, I had a conversation with a few people and learned that a lot of ideation and reasoning has gone into giving the show this slot. One of the biggest reasons being that IPL (Indian Premier League) airs next month and it, as we know does create a major impact on the ratings. Also, the channel has Dus Ka Dum 2 and other shows in the pipeline ahead which need to be planned to. So, I understand why! But, we do have a major positive in the form of Yeh Un Ki Baat Hai working really good on the 10:30 pm slot, so it is a good lead to have as we begin when it ends."
It now makes a lot of sense on why the 11 p.m. slot was finalised for the show!
