Arjun Kapoor broke out of his shell when he signed Raj Kumar Gupta’s India’s Most Wanted. The actor who usually seen in big entertainers or commercial films plays the role of an Intelligence Bureau Officer in the film.

The crime drama is based on a true story; it will be more realistic and devoid of all the gun-blazing and high-octane action scenes.

During a recent interview, Arjun was asked about his father’s reaction to the movies trailer, he said, “My father’s reaction actually surprised me. He got emotional seeing it. I think somewhere, he is also a commercial viewer, so he said my son has taken a matured decision to do a film which is sensible and there’s an underdog texture to the film rather than the boisterous ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ texture.”

Arjun shared that Boney Kapoor felt proud as his son has decided to do a film devoid of the tone that is expected. Arjun Kapoor also shared that he himself is happy with his choice and expects the audience accepts the film and appreciates it.

India's Most Wanted is a story of India's Osama and 5 IB Officers who are hunting him down. The film will hit the screens on May 24, 2019.
