Hello 2020: TV Shows to Look Forward!

In 2019, we saw some of the most promising shows which provided the viewers unique and interesting storyline. The coming year will bring about lots of excitement and energy with these following shows which is all set to hit our Television screens soon. 

Sony TV

 Ek Duje Ke Vaaste 2-

Namik Paul and Nikita Dutta starrer popular Sony TV show Ek Duje Ke Vaaste has returned with season 2. The makers have roped in fresh faces as the lead pair, while Mohit Kumar will be seen playing the male lead, Kanika Kapur has been roped in as the female lead.

 Jay Mehta productions Next- 

Jay Mehta Productions next will star Avantika Hundal and Akshay Mhatre in the lead roles. The show will mostly be a finite series and will be shot overseas in London. It is apparently inspired from Sridevi starrer English Vinglish. Suchitra Trivedi who has been roped in to play Akshay’s mother will be keen to learn English.

Zee TV

Itni si Hassi Itni si khushi- 

Zee TV is all set to launch yet another shown titled Itni Si Hassi Itni Si Khushi which is still in its initial stage.

1.  Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram-  

2. & TV is all set to bring yet another Mythological show titled Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram. The show will premiere on 7 Jan 2020. Nirbhay Wadhwa will be seen playing the role of Bali in the show. The show also stars Jiten Lalwani and Sneha Wagh.

Colors

Barrister Babu- Colors TV is all set to launch yet another show based on child marriage in the coming year. The show will revolve around a female child who will get married to a grown up and as the show evolves, her husband will provide the female child with education, making her a barrister. The male lead is portrayed by Pravisht Mishra and the female lead hasn’t been finalised yet. 

 Naati Pinky ki lambi love story- 

The show Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story’s promo went on-air recently and it stars Riya Shukla and Puneett Chouksey in the lead roles. The show revolves around a girl with short height whose marriage is the prime concern of her family. However, she believes that if there is a Jaya Bachchan for Amitabh Bachchan, then there is someone out there for her too.

Khatron Ke Khiladi- 

After the popular reality show Bigg Boss 13, Colors will be all set to bring in the 10th season of Khatron Ke Khiladi which will be hosted by Rohit Shetty. Popular names from the industry including the likes of Karan Patel, Karishma Tanna, Shivin Narang, Amruta Khanvilkar, Balraj Sayal amongst others will be a part of the show which is shot in Bulgaria. 

Sab TV

Mahila Police Thanna-

Sab TV is all set to launch yet another show in 2020 which will be titled as Mahila Police Thanna. The show will revolve around a police station which will be headed by only female cops. The show will premiere on 10th Feb 2020.

Star Bharat

Kartik Purnima- 

Star Bharat is set to come up with yet another show which will star Harsh Nagar and Poulomi Das in the lead roles. The show will also star Veteran Actress Meenakshi Verma and is currently in the initial stage of its project. 

Star Plus

1. Maharaj Ki Jai Ho-  

2. Maharaj Ki Jai Ho which will air on Star Plus will be a sci-fi finite series produced by Trouble Maker productions. The show might go air in the early 2020 and will star Rajesh Kumar, Abhishek Awasthi, Riya Sharma and Satyajit Dubey. 

1. Dadi Amma Dadi Amma Maan Jao- 

2. The show will be telecast on Star Plus and apparently will revolve around two sisters, who have been brought up by their grandparents after their parents pass away.The show will be produced by Rajshri productions and Seema Biswas will be seen playing the titular role in the show.
