Happy to play this mysterious character: Pranav Kumar on joining 'Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan'

Zee TV’s popular fiction offering, Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, is a mature romance based in modern-day Vrindavan. It captures the story of Mohan (Shabir Ahluwalia), who was once an effortless and easy-going charmer with women swooning around him. However, he has somehow lost that smile along the way and is, today, an intense, brooding man. On the other side, Radha (Neeharika Roy) is a spiritual and optimistic girl, who is on a mission to help Mohan smile once again. While the audience is loving the chemistry between their beloved Radha and Mohan, a new character - Hriday - is all set to enter their lives and turn the tale on its head.

Popular TV actor Pranav Kumar, who has been seen in several top shows in the past, will be seen playing the character of Hriday. Young and good-looking, Hriday is a sarvagun sampan guy, and a devotee of Radha Rani. In fact, he spends most of his time chanting Radha Maa’s name, and seeing his devotion, everyone in the family feels he is the perfect match for Radha. However, with a lot of mystery around Hriday and with Radha being in love with Mohan, it will be interesting to see what happens when the family tries to set them up. With the character’s entry all set to bring about several twists and turns, Pranav is ecstatic about bagging this challenging part too.

As Pranav Kumar reveals, “I am extremely happy to be playing the mysterious character of Hriday, who is bound to keep the viewers on the edge of their seats by making them wonder if he has everyone’s best interests at heart or not. With the show already doing well, it is a challenge for me to come in and establish my character, however, I am really excited by this wonderful opportunity. My character is actually quite different from what I have previously played, and that will truly help me grow as an actor. The show also has a stalwart actor like Shabir Ahluwalia, and I am eager to learn a lot from him. I just hope the audience loves this upcoming twist in the storyline and showers their love on my performance as well.”

While Pranav’s entry will surely be something to watch out for, it will be interesting to see how he creates havoc in Radha and Mohan’s life.
