Gulshan Grover and Anupam Kher have fun with names on Shashi Ranjan's

Gulshan Grover, Anupam Kher and Jackie Shroff had a lot of fun at each other's expense at the recently concluded shooting schedule of Shashi Ranjan's "Dhoom Dadakka" in Bangklok.

Gulshan Grover, Anupam Kher and Jackie Shroff had a lot of fun at each other's expense at the recently concluded shooting schedule of Shashi Ranjan's "Dhoom Dadakka" in Bangklok.

Says Gulshan, "We go back a long way – Shashi, Anupam, Jackie and I. We started our career almost simultaneously and it was great fun to be on the sets with such old pals. There was a lot of friendly banter between Anupam and I regarding our names in the movie. All the characters in the movie are based on underworld dons. Anupam goes by the name 'Mungilal' while I am called 'Fursatlala'. We had a lot of fun pulling Anupam's leg about his name and poor Shashi was caught between two good friends Anupam and I. Anupam kept complaining that he likes my name better than his ... Mungilal he said sounds too funny … while we would crack jokes like mungi baja doonga pungi … khol doonga lungi ….. mungi chungi.. pungi etc. Jackie would add spice to it by supporting me in pulling Anupam's leg."

An Indo-Pak Co-production, Dhoom Dadakka is being produced by Shashi Ranjan along with Syma Khar from Pakistan. Shashi Ranjan also directs the film that is now 90% complete with just a couple of songs remaining to be filmed and these will be canned in the month of October, in Mumbai.
