One such very famous villain of Bollywood is called Gulshan Grover, whom the world knows as 'Bad Man'.
Gulshan Grover was well-liked in the character of the villain who snatched everything from the person in front with a gleam in his eyes and a sly laugh on his lips.
His acting is so tremendous that when he came on the screen, the audience saw him with fear and hatred.
Gulshan Grover is rarely seen in a positive role in films. In most of the films, he played the role of a villain. He acted in more than 400 films.
Gulshan Grover, born on 21 September 1955, is celebrating his 66th birthday this year.
Altough today he is the most famous and established actor in the industry ,Gulshan Grover's childhood was spent in extreme poverty.
Talking about this during an interview, he said that,
I have seen many ups and downs in my life. My childhood went through very bad situations. I still remember that my school was in the afternoon but I used to wear my uniform and leave in the morning itself. Every morning I used to sell detergent powder for dishes and laundry in big closets away from my home.I used to earn money by selling all this. The people living in those cells used to buy things from me because they wanted me to study and do something big. I was never afraid of poverty because my father had always taught me to be honest. In those days we did not have money to eat and we had to starve for many days. Even after coming to Mumbai, the situation was like this for a long time but I did not lose courage.- Gulshan Grover
His character in this film became so famous that he was called by the same name in the industry. In an interview, he said that,
"when I entered films, I realized that I want to be a star. But then I thought of becoming a villain. He said that villains in films have a long life. His longevity, personal vanity is not based on his looks but on performance. I had to do something similar, so I chose this path".
Before stepping into Bollywood, he joined theater and learned acting.
After working in theater for a long time, he decided to come to Mumbai.
Gulshan Grover was first seen in the film 'Hum Paanch'. He played a small role in this film. Apart from this, he appeared in 'Bulandi', 'Rocky', 'Sadma', and 'Veerana' but he got real recognition from the film 'Ram Lakhan'.
