'Ghum Hai...' actor Tanvi Thakkar on how her approach towards work has changed in two years

Actor Tanvi Thakkar has now witnessed quite a journey on the Star Plus rating grabber, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. While the actor has done an array of shows earlier, this one hit different as it was one of the first times that she was replacing another actor which is never an easy job. Thakkar replaced actor Yamini Malhotra, and she recently went on talk about how she dealt with it initially in an interview with ETimes TV,

She said, “Even if I have replaced someone, it doesn’t mean that I cannot change anything. I sit with the team and work on how we can make the character look better. For example, I have started wearing a nose ring, which this character never wore earlier. Shivani in the show is stylish, so I make suggestions keeping that in mind. And the suggestions I make are respected. When I joined the show, I had decided that I would do things my way. I never looked at what the previous actor did. I am happy with the response that I have got from the audience."

She further went on to talk about how work has been there for her as she has been in the industry for over a decade but it is the past couple of years specifically that she has learned to value it a lot more. “In these past two years, I have learned to respect my work more. I get anxious if I am late, so I come to the sets even before other people are here. Even if I am one minute late, I start trembling I don’t want to mess it up in any way.”

Concluding, Thakkar mentioned that she does want to be a part of web shows and explore other mediums but TV is her comfort space and she is happy doing it right now.

Apart from currently being a part of GHKKPM, Thakkar is best known for her roles in shows like Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant and Bepannaah Pyaar among others.
