Gaurav Sareen and Anshul Pandey in a head-to-head battle for Star Plus's next

Producer Saurabh Tewari's new show on Star Plus which is based on the story of Hindi writer Harishankar Parsai is now in search for its male lead.
Megha Chakraborty has already been locked to play the female lead for Saurabh Tewari's next, apart from other actors like Madhuri Sanjeev and Bhagwan Tiwari being part of it.
Reports now suggest that the makers are looking for a face to play the role of Bankey from Indore for which the channel needs a young face.
Some reports have suggested that the search will be a well-fought between the two actors.
One would be Gaurav Sareen who is currently seen in Sony TV's Ek Deewaana Tha, as Sharanya's brother, while the other one is Anshul Pandey, who is known for his roles in shows Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, Bade Acche Lagte Hai and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Reports have also suggested that they both have been shortlisted and only one of them will be locked for the role.
The series is still untitled and will go on floors in February. The series will be shot in Indore.
