Ganpath actor Faraz Khan ACCUSES Vashu Bhagnani's Pooja Entertainment of NOT CLEARING DUES: 'SHAMEFUL'

Faraz Khan, who was seen in Tiger Shroff starrer Ganpath, took to his Instagram handle to accuse Vashu Bhagnani's Pooja Entertainment of not clearing his dues and also made shocking revelations.

Actor Faraz Khan, who played the role of Thabeel in the 2023 action film Ganapath starring Tiger Shroff, has come forward with allegations against the film’s producers, Pooja Entertainment. The actor claims that even after nearly two years, he has not received his full payment for the project.

Faraz addressed the issue on Instagram, sharing an official statement. He wrote: My name is Faraz Khan. I was hired by POOJA ENTERTAINMENT, for the Hindi feature film GANAPATH directed by Vikas Bahl, to play the role of Thabeel. My counterpart in the film, Armaan Khera, and I appear in nearly every scene together—like on-screen twins. He has been paid in full. I have not.

He further explained that when he tried to reach out to the production team, he was misled. In his words: ALL above-the-line cast and crew have been paid, many of them exorbitant fees. But when it comes to paying the 'small guy' — me — you choose to play games. This is not just unprofessional. It is shameful.

Faraz did not stop there. He called out the production house publicly, saying: Let the industry and the public know how Pooja Entertainment treats its actors: with dishonesty, disrespect, and delay. I will not be silenced or brushed aside.

He has also warned that if his dues are not cleared and he doesn’t receive a public apology, he will take legal steps and speak out in the media. ''Pay your people. Honour your contracts. Stop harassing independent artists,” he concluded. Have a look at Faraz's statement here:

This controversy comes after a tough year for Pooja Entertainment. In 2024, the Bhagnani family, who own the production house, were reported to be facing major financial troubles. Following the poor box office performance of their films Ganapath and Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan, the company reportedly fell into debt. To manage this debt, which was said to be around ?250 crore, the Bhagnanis had to sell their office property in Mumbai’s Juhu area, reports stated. Several crew members and supporting cast from various projects also claimed they hadn’t been paid, even as main leads received their payments.

Faraz Khan’s statement has once again brought attention to how independent and lesser-known artists are often left behind when productions face financial stress.
