Former Pakistani Cricketer Shoaib Akhtar tweets for Salman

The ace cricketer feels the punishment is too harsh for his friend.

Shoaib Akhtar is a former Pakistani cricketer, who played all formats of the game for fourteen years. On April 6, 2018, when Salman Khan had to visit Jodhpur for the hearing of his Blackbuck poaching case the actor was announced with the final verdict of imprisonment for 5 years whereas, the other actors like Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari were acquitted by the court.

After hearing the final verdict by the court on his friend Salman Khan Shoaib took to his Twitter account to express his feelings about the same.

He wrote, "Really Sad to see my friend Salman Khan sentenced for 5 years But the Law must take its course & we got to respect the decision of honourable court of India but I still think punishment is too harsh but my heart goes to his family & fans...
Am sure he will out soon..." (Sic).

Meanwhile, the superstar was supposed to have a verdict on his bail today but, unfortunately, the on-field reports suggest that the actor might have to stay for one more night in Jail. The final confirmation of the bail shall be heard tomorrow.
