Former 'Balika Vadhu' actor replaced on a show!

The upcoming show, 'Krishnadasi' has already been in the news even before going on-air, owing to the lead, Sana Amin Sheikh's recent real life marriage.

The show is once again in the buzz as according to a leading news daily, veteran TV actor, Chetanya Adib, best known for his roles in shows like 'Saat Phere' and 'Balika Vadhu' has been replaced on the show. The actor was set to play a pivotal role, however has been now replaced without any intimation.

A miffed Chetanya said, "No one has ever treated me like this in my career of 20 years. It is highly unprofessional. I signed the contract with them and shot for a day on 8th January. The production team told me that the set is being constructed and that they would inform me about the next shoot. I found it odd when I didn't hear from them for a week. With the telecast day approaching and my character being pivotal, I contacted them again, that's when a unit hand revealed that I am no longer a part of the project."

The actor is also upset as he lost out on other projects because of the commitment to this show and mentions that this mentally agonising.

The producer of the show, Vipul D Shah was asked about the issue and said, "He seemed perfect for the role, but dynamics change when the show goes on floor. We apologise if he is hurt."
