Following Elvish Yadav's slapping incident, his audio explanation goes viral

Elvish Yadav, who clinched the Bigg Boss OTT 2 trophy, is dominating headlines following the emergence of a video showing him involved in a physical altercation at a restaurant. In the clip, Yadav can be seen slapping a man, prompting widespread speculation about the incident's cause. 

Initially, rumours circulated that Yadav's actions were triggered by a fan's request for a photo. Even though the reality show winner hasn't posted anything on his personal account, an alleged audio recording featuring Elvish's voice started circulating on social media platforms.

In the audio, Yadav explains that the altercation ensued after the individual directed abusive language towards him. He clarified that he neither seeks to create turmoil nor intends to raise his hands on anyone, preferring to go about his own business. Yadav acknowledged that fans approaching him for pictures is acceptable but emphasised that he will not tolerate abusive language directed towards his mother or sister. 

Additionally, he pointed out that in the video, commandos and police are clearly visible, indicating that there was no wrongdoing on his part. Describing the incident as a personal matter, Yadav clarified that his actions were prompted solely by the verbal abuse he received. He expressed no regrets and asserted that he was justified in his response, delivering his message to the individual in his own distinct manner.

Others warned against disrespecting public figures like Yadav, emphasising the consequences of such behaviour. Many sympathised with Yadav, asserting that his reaction was triggered by derogatory remarks directed towards his family. This sentiment was echoed by numerous.
