Ashutosh Gowarikar's upcoming home production, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is is a historic drama based on the 1930's Chittagong uprising. Script wise the story shall be a shadow of Manini Chatterjee's book, Do and Die.

The lead couple for this Ashutosh Gowariker Productions Pvt. Ltd (AGPPL) production has been finalized as Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone - a first time on screen appearance for the actors as a couple.

While the line of producers for KHJJS includes Sunita A. Gowariker, Ajay Bijli and Sanjeev Bijli, the film in addition to the protagonists also casts Vishakha Singh, Samrat Mukherji, Sikander Kher, Maninder Singh, Feroz Wahid Khan and Shreyas Pandit
