Fateh Day 6 Box Office: Sonu Sood's Action Flick Struggles, Earns Rs 75 Lakh

Sonu Sood’s much-anticipated directorial debut, Fateh, has been met with disappointing box office numbers. Despite a star-studded cast, including Jacqueline Fernandez, Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Raaz, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya, the film failed to resonate with the audience, leaving it on the brink of a disastrous end. With a sluggish response at the box office, it is unlikely that the film will recover, as it is edging closer to the Rs 10 crore mark.

Released under Zee Studios' banner, Fateh opened with a strong Rs 2 crore on its first day, but the excitement quickly fizzled out. Despite offering BOGO (Buy One Get One) promotions, the movie failed to build any momentum. By the end of its first week, it had earned Rs 6 crore, aided by self-promotion, but the collections remained lackluster. The movie struggled to maintain interest, especially on weekdays when the collections dipped significantly.

On Day 6, Fateh earned Rs 75 lakh, bringing its total earnings to Rs 8.35 crore net at the Indian box office. The film’s performance over the next few days doesn’t seem promising either. With Cinema Lovers Day on January 17 offering a possible lifeline, the film may see a slight boost, but the chances of a recovery are slim.

As of now, Fateh is expected to finish its first week at around Rs 9 crore net and might cap out at Rs 12 crore net at the domestic box office. This projection seems unlikely, especially considering its inability to pull in an audience even with ticket prices slashed to Rs 99 on opening day.

Fateh has had a rather underwhelming run at the box office, with its day-wise collections showing little to no growth. On its opening day, the film earned Rs 2 crore, a decent start, which was matched again on Day 2. However, by Day 3, the collections remained stagnant at Rs 2 crore. The film experienced a significant drop on Day 4, earning only Rs 70 lakh, followed by a slight increase on Day 5, collecting Rs 90 lakh. On Day 6, Fateh managed to bring in Rs 75 lakh, bringing its total earnings so far to Rs 8.35 crore at the domestic box office.
