Farhan Akhtar introduced in his first scene from the MCU series, 'Ms. Marvel' Ep 4 teaser as Waleed

Fans of Bollywood and the MCU can unite in celebration as the first peek of Farhan Akhtar's entry in the Marvel Universe just came out. The arrival of Farhan Akhtar in the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel was hinted at before the release of episode four on Wednesday. 

On the official Marvel Entertainment social media platforms, a fresh clip from the episode was posted, showcasing Farhan's character, Waleed.

The video opens with him leading Iman Vellani’s title character into a mysterious location, where they are met by Farhan’s character. “Usually, tourists are not allowed,” Kareem says, as Kamala seems impressed with her palatial surroundings. And then, Farhan’s character appears from behind her, and says, “But for a descendant of Ayesha’s, I’m sure we can make an exception.” He continues, “My name is Waleed. Your great-grandmother’s story is of legend. When you’re ready, we have much to discuss.”

Moreover, Kamala, a gamer and fan fiction writer, is a Captain Marvel superfan, who feels like an outsider at school and even in her own home. That is until she is bestowed the same superpower as the superheroes that she looks up to. While Farhan's character details are under wraps, the actor has been couched as a guest-starring role in the series.

Farhan's Ms. Marvel casting news came after Fawad Khan was confirmed to be a part of the Disney+ series as well. Ms Marvel is the sixth live-action Disney+ series set in the MCU, following WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Hawkeye and Moon Knight.
