Farah Khan Reflects on Evolving Challenges of Collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan After Decades of Iconic Hits

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and director Farah Khan share a friendship that has lasted through decades, blending personal warmth with professional success. In a conversation with The Times of India, Farah reflected on the friendships she has built in the industry, many of which predate stardom. Speaking about her bond with Shah Rukh, she recalled their early days before the release of films like Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa and Deewana. Sharing her perspective, she said, “If it was hard working with him then, it is harder now. Every time we work on a song, the pressure doubles because we have created such iconic songs together."

Farah also revealed that she took a break from directing after Happy New Year due to uninspiring projects. During her hiatus, she focused on spending quality time with her family, enjoying vacations, and cherishing moments with her children. While she remains eager to return to filmmaking, Farah is waiting for the right script and perfect timing for her comeback.
