Fans wonder why Deepika Padukone isn't at the Met Gala 2022 as she is seen chilling with nature in recent pics

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone draws headlines with every photo she publishes on social media. Since this morning, a photo of Deepika Padukone has been doing the rounds on the internet. The actress is seen in the photo spending quality time with a pal in the woods.

The actress is seen enjoying a blossom on a tree while dressed entirely in white, and wearing a brown hat. 

Vinta Chaitnya, a well-known interior designer, posted the image. She captioned it, ‘Twinning, this morning, with a fellow naturalist 💚😃@deepikapadukone … #worklife #interiordesigner.’ The designer is reportedly designing Ranveer and Deepika's Alibaug home.

While her followers liked the photograph, they are perplexed as to why she is not attending the Met Gala in 2022. Many people remarked on the photo and wondered why she wasn't there. While one wrote, ‘Why isn’t she at MET?’, another one added, ‘She’s not attending the Met Gala this year???’

In 2019, Deepika attended the famous event. In a voluminous pink strapless gown with sculpted elements, the actress attracted attention at the red carpet.

On the professional front, she has a slate of projects in the works, including Siddharth Anand's 'Pathan', starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, and Hrithik Roshan's 'Fighter.' Naga Ashwin's unnamed film starring Prabhas also features the actress.

Deepika will also act alongside Amitabh Bachchan in the official Hindi adaptation of 'The Intern,' in which she will reunite with her 'Piku' co-star.
