'FALSE allegations of..': Elvish Yadav's statement after being summoned by NCW over remarks on Chum Darang

Elvish Yadav has found himself in troubled waters yet again after a statement of him on Karan Veer Mehra having 'covid' and 'losing taste' to have liked Chum Darang went viral on the internet. While the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner clarified that the said statement was not made on racist grounds, Chum Darang still went ahead to slam him for his remarks and called the creator out on the same. Amid all of this, the NCW (National commision of women) has now summoned Elvish over his remarks on Chum.

Reacting to the controversy further, Elvish, taking to his X ( formerly twitter) handle to rubbish the claims of him using 'racist slurs' against states that his statements have been miscontrued. He states that he has always promoted inclusivity and in no way meant to use racist slur against Darang. ''A statement from my podcast is being taken out of context and presented in a misleading way. There was never any intention to target or insult anyone.I have always believed in respect and inclusivity, and those who know me understand that I have nothing but love for everyone. It’s unfortunate that a false narrative is being created, completely misrepresenting my words. This whole issue is based on false allegations of racism, which is simply not true. To avoid further misinterpretation, the statement was removed from the podcast, and I also addressed the clarification in my next vlog. I have always stood for positivity and inclusivity and will continue to do so,'' Elvish writes.
